CRA Exam Registration and Fees


First-time test taker applications, fees are as follows:
  • AHRA Members: The exam fee is $325, plus a $100 application fee to verify eligibility. The total of $425 (plus late fee when applicable) must accompany the application. >> Pay for the CRA Exam Application
  • All Other Applicants: The exam fee is $500, plus a $100 application fee to verify eligibility. The total of $600 (plus late fee when applicable) must accompany the application. >> Pay for the CRA Exam Application

Note: If you paid for CRA Pathway Premium AHRA Membership you do not have to pay the $100 application fee. Applications postmarked or sent electronically after the application deadline must include an additional $50 late fee. Eligibility will be considered on a case-by-case basis.



Special Requests
Individuals with disabilities and/or religious obligations that require modifications in test administration may request specific procedural changes, in writing, to the RACC no later than 30 days prior to the test date. With the written request, the candidate must provide official documentation of the disability or religious issue. Candidates should contact us to determine the requirements for official documentation. The RACC will offer appropriate modifications to its procedures when documentation supports the need for them.

CRA Logo Usage

Candidates who successfully complete the Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) examination may use the Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) logo as a graphic symbol of the individual’s accomplishment. To obtain permission for usage of the CRA logo, review the Guidelines and completion of the Certified Radiology Administrator Program Agreement.
